The Eighth International Symposium on Dynamic Games and Applications, a three day conference, will be held for the first time in the Netherlands, July 6-8, 1998. Participants will have an opportunity to hear state-of-the-art presentations on a wide range of game-theoretic models, both theory and applications. The conference will be preceded by a one-day tutorial on July 5.
Conference
The three day technical program will consist of plenary sessions, invited sessions, and presentations of contributed papers. The topics include, but are not limited to the following:
Plenary lectures
Plenary lectures will cover different areas of dynamic games. They will focus on the state of the art of several areas of dynamic games, and will be delivered by
Tutorial
The topic of the tutorial is LEARNING IN GAMES. It will be delivered by Professor E. LEHRER from Tel-Aviv University (IL) and Professor R. VOHRA from Ohio State University (US).

Publications
All accepted papers will be included in a volume of preprints to be made available to registered participants at the beginning of the conference. Authors will also have the opportunity to submit their papers for publication in a refereed special volume of the ANNALS OF THE ISDG (Birkhauser publisher).

The Program Committee is soliciting proposals for invited sessions. Cohesive sessions focusing on new or emerging topics are particularly encouraged.

Symposium Location and accommodation
All the sessions, the conference dinner and the tutorial will be held at the Chateau Vaalsbroek, near Maastricht, the Netherlands. At the Chateau Vaalsbroek a limited number of rooms has been reserved. Also, a number of chalets has been reserved at a holiday resort at only a few minutes walking from the Chateau. Each chalet consists of three bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room. During the conference, rooms in the Chateau and rooms in the chalets are available at the following reduced rates. These are the rates per person for participants and include all meals, which will be served at the chateau for all participants. Persons staying at the chalets have free access to several swimming pools, tennis courts etc...
Accompanying persons will be charged 100 DFL per night (breakfast only included). Additional nights outside the conference will be charged 150 DFL (breakfast only included). Participants from developing countries may apply for a reduced hotel rate.
A pick-up service will be provided from Maastricht-Aachen-Airport, as well as from the railway stations in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and Aachen, Germany.
